SWEET THINGS APP
PROJECT TIME - 1 Weeks
MY ROLE - Interaction Designer & UX Researcher
PROBLEM STATEMENT
This is a personal case study project comprising a four-page design challenge I undertook.
As a consumer, I have always been frustrated by the limited exchange options and poorly designed interfaces when shopping for furniture online. I want to explore how to build a user-friendly platform with a positive vibe for the project.
SOLUTION
SWEET THINGS is an e-commerce furniture application with a simple and elegant user interface. The design provides a better experience and reliability to users who can focus on buying furniture.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
In this personal project, I compared the interface design and features of the two brands I use as a customer - IKEA and Wayfair.
After analyzing these two brands, I have come up with some ideas for what my app could provide to the user:
-
Reasonable price range.
-
Clean, powerful interface design.
-
Easy-going user flow.
-
A protection plan.

STARTING WITH SKETCHING
As a designer, I thoroughly enjoy the creative process of putting my imagination and inspiration onto paper. The ability to use my creativity freely is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. When working on a project, I take the time to explore different ideas and concepts, allowing me to experiment with various designs until I find the perfect fit.

LOW-FIDELITY WIREFRAMES
After sketching, my ideas became clear and I created low-fidelity wireframes. My design thinking process evolved until finalizing the project.

TESTING FEEDBACK
"I had such a wonderful time testing "Sweet Things"! The whole experience was uplifting, and the interface was a breeze to navigate."

KEY LEARNINGS
I had a great time working on this project. SWEET THINGS allowed me to delve deeper into the e-commerce industry and test my design skills through a personal project. This was my third project, and I used Figma, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator to complete it. I can confidently say that I improved my organization and consistency through this project.
